Tiffany & Co

Initially hired as a lead Designer for Creative Strategy, I have since taken on the management of digital content, general design and special projects. I work directly with my Vice President on all creative matters that fall under his wing. This includes; temporary facades, hoardings & advertising, all global digital content, sporting pop ups, art acquisition & research, store design and general 'mike-drop moments'.

It is a multi disciplinary role that lets me work on a large variety of projects. I work with artists, collaborators and agencies to produce design work in a variety of scale for Tiffany Global. My work and communication deals directly with Tiffany executives, the CMO, CEO and CD.

In my 13+ year career I have gained experience in leadership and project/team management, client and vendor relationships, budgets and seeing projects from concept to install, design collaboration, final inspections and project reports.

It is a truly a unique role that has allowed my to grow as a designer and manager under a very large blanket of design variety.

Bjarke Ingles Group

Initially hired as a junior visualizer, my key responsibilities were helping with imagery and creating assets for the office. As part of this, I realized that there could be improvements made to the asset library and templates. With the changes that I have implement, the overall efficiency of the image making process has vastly improved. I've developed templates and organized processes to help creative leads with their projects. By implementing lasting change and consistently bettering the production process, I have advanced my department.

I worked between the technical and artistic side of architecture to create standards and processes for the entire New York office at BIG. I also trained colleagues about the visual process and created processes for to streamline workflow; working with our Copenhagen and New York offices to establish and overall better production process.

Architects Without Frontiers (AWF)

In Ghorka, Nepal myself and a team of 30 successfully "winterized" 160 homes/shelters after the 2015 earthquake. As part of AWF, we went in and constructed/ reconstructed their homes to provide relief from condensation, smoke inhalation, wind, bora infestation and other such issues.

We used simple construction strategies to seal holes, repair/redesign roofs and relocate and reconstruct kitchens.

Welcome to my portfolio, I am Tracy Sodder, a visual specialist and designer.I am a multifaceted designer with a background in 3D design and graphics. I started my career in 2014 in Australia, working for VM at a store called David Lawrence. I worked there for three years, assisting with in-store visual merchandising before transitioning into a career in architecture.

In 2017, I left Australia to join Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) as a visualization specialist and designer. At BIG, I built a strong reputation and track record at the New York office. My role was unique and ever evolving. As a natural multi-tasker, I easily took on multiple responsibilities, leading to my success within the firm.I was fortunate to contribute to nearly every project at some stage and was involved with all aspects of BIG's visual language, training, and file management. I produced visual elements ranging from diagrams to full-scale animations. Working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment suited me well, and I thrived in providing design solutions, training, and visual strategies for teams ranging from three to thirty people.

As an advocate for continuous learning, I initiated programs at BIG to help train designers of all levels in streamlining the design and production processes. I believe that we should never stop learning. These programs inspired designers and equipped them with the tools and skills necessary for their creative endeavors. Design is inherently collaborative, and I found ways to facilitate seamless interactions among colleagues across departments and hierarchies. My background in architecture and design has opened doors for me in the Metaverse, spatial design, experiential design, graphic design, and much more. I am passionate about bridging the technical and artistic aspects of design while using research to inform my work.

This passion led me to my current role at Tiffany & Co. At Tiffany & Co., I work under the leadership of Marcus Maitland-Price, VP of Creative Strategies for Store and Brand Experience. Since joining the LVMH group in 2021, Tiffany & Co. has experienced tremendous growth and change, and I am proud to be a part of this journey. In my role, I oversee the creative management of global design content & experiences and lead the design strategy efforts of Marcus's team. The work within creative strategy is diverse and ranges in scale from the pins used by staff in-store to sculptural installations and facades worldwide. This role has allowed me to expand my skills as a multidisciplinary designer and tackle a wide array of projects. Although the timelines vary and expectation are always high, making this a truly exciting role. At Tiffany, I focus on various aspects of visual merchandising, store design, digital content and experiences. This broad scope of design work has given me the freedom to enhance my design skills. I collaborate with multiple small teams and external contractors on creative projects with constantly changing timelines. I am accustomed to this ad-hoc environment, which has enabled me to seamlessly adapt to my role here.

I am enjoying my time at Tiffany & Co. and am always looking to collaborate with other designers. I am open to exploring new opportunities, so please don't hesitate to reach out if you would like to know more about me or my work.
